The mind confuses the perception. It interprets, defines and pervert the real and the identity. Does it make us several or are we the ones who perceive ourselves several? Is the self a set of multiple and mutable selves that complements themselves or a multiple totality of catalogued selves to say without contradict, to pacify the dilemmas of thinking and will?
Identity, as a product of the relationship between the subject and social milieu, is fragmented by the individual’s attempt to perform the various roles it assumes in a society, becoming contradictory. The subject, perceiving himself from the other, creates self-concepts by self-definition of himself, by the definition of others about himself and by the definition of the same others towards the self-definition that the subject gives them.
The subject attributes concepts, representations and judgements to his own person, which consequently shapes his perception and appearance. Thus, the self-concept becomes mutable, constantly gifting us with moments of change and renewal in which a worn out self transmutes itself in a new self-full vitality, as if it was a ecdise. In this process, symbiotically, the subject influences himself in the other, and this one, by the perception of what happened, mirrors himself in the subject and reviews himself in the same action, being
the subject and the other multiple and distinct individualities but who abbreviate themselves in only one by a symbiosis process.
