The hearing problem that characterizes me also adds other special features to my being, as a continuous effort to keep stability both physically and in social relations. Beyond the search for the balance of the own body, it’s also necessary to look for it in the relationship with others, once feeble hearing complicate the socialization, because, in a verbal communication, the message often arrives incomplete.
In this project, I sought to promote the experience of this mechanism (divulged by Iberê Thenório as chair with human legs), that creates a game where both you look for mutual balance and comfort, as you test the imbalance on the other within this commodity. Thereby, the verbal communication becomes secondary and the body signals of the other becomes more relevant, causing between the users a relationship closer to the one I perceive in the living with my peers.
